Well, if you’re a Royals fan, you’ve been waiting for this moment all season.  You knew it was going to come.  You weren’t sure how, or when, but you knew that good luck just doesn’t come to KC baseball.  Good things go bad.  Mike Sweeney signs a five year contract and spends four of them on the DL with a terminally bad back.  Jermaine Dye becomes an All-Star and gets traded for Neifi Perez.  It doesn’t ever seem to matter, you just know things won’t end well, no matter how rosy the picture.
