This is something thats been bothering me ever since i first noticed it.  Car headlights keep getting brighter adn brighter.  It seems like every year even more of the new models have “green” LED lights or halogen bulbs or something that last longer and shine brighter.  Then there are all the commercials showing how much brighter the new bulbs are and encouraging people to upgrade their cars.

I’m sure there are all kinds of studies and stuff showing that the new bulbs and higher brightness are safer and reduce accidents and everything.  Personally, I’m waiting for the first study to come out showing increased accidents from the new bulbs blinding oncoming drivers.  Seriously, its like looking into somebodies brights with these things.
